COLOR MAKES ME HAPPY

Color can alter the look and feel of a room

and if you love color,

a little bit may not be enough to create the look and feel you crave

When Fawn and Carey first purchased this home, it was bland and dated....

PROPER USE OF A COLOR PALETTE

To make your decorating flow through your house and look pulled together and like everythng is meant to be there, you need to repeat colors throughout the rooms - 

this room is predominantly beige, with cream and soft blue accents - the next room can have the same colors with a stronger showing of blue or cream, or even a stronger hue of blue - as long as its in the same family.

A LITTLE FACELIFT

Can you believe that February is almost gone?
I blinked… and it was nearly March!
but its still a new year and a chance for a new foot forward.

 Chances are your home could do with a little bit of a lift, too. 

COLOR OR NEUTRAL?

There's been a lot of talk about color for 2014.
When I hear colors thrown about, like Radiant Orchid, I have to remind myself that these are 'trends' 
they are talking about.  I'm not 'trendy' per se.  
I like something that will stand the test of time - 

which is why I like a nice neutral background so that when you get tired of that trendy color - and you will - it will take only a few changes to go on to the next trendy color or a more lasting look...
