CHARCOAL GRAY MASTER SUITE

LISA'S BEAUTIFUL BEDROOM SUITE

I am way behind on posting on the projects I currently have in the works, but here are some photos to catch you up on Lisa's Master Suite....

I posted about it first here:

We chose a palette of charcoal gray, white, pale gray and beige with deep dark woods - a very soothing, serene color scheme.

We purchased new bedroom furniture,
added sconces and a cozy throw,

a fresh matelasse bedspread

and installed beautiful custom cabinetry outside the large walk-in closet
We put mirrors in the french cabinet doors to reflect light
and hide the clutter behind the doors.
A second custom stand-alone cabinet is being built for the wall opposite the bed
that will look similar in style to this cabinet,
with the drawers and cupboard doors being the same.

We found the perfect chair for the desk area (below) and have ordered a custom shelf for the alcove.  I'm looking for the perfect artwork to finish that area.
Grandin Road

Isn't this chair PERFECT?

We purchased and framed black and white floral prints to create a beautiful focal point over the bed.
Lisa found the perfect pillow (just picked up 2 more for a trio) at Target

FINALLY found a rug that worked (after looking at about 200) and had beautiful fabric drapes made in the perfect charcoal color.  The bench needs fabric to be recovered.
Just a few more finishing touches - lamps, accessories and a little seating area with comfy chairs -

In the bath area, the tile (stone) was installed, new vanities were made, granite added

frameless glass shower enclosure, and shelves have been ordered for over the tub area.
currently looking for fabric for a window treatment...

Mirrors were added, and artwork
we added custom framed mirrors to both vanities

and vanity light sconces,
and beadboard wainscote to finish the walls - painted fresh white

Lisa found stainless steel switchplates

and she added big fluffy charcoal towels

we used the same suite of artwork we used over the bed -
they add a nice finishing touch over the toilet area and add continuity

Looking good!
I will post again when we have the final touches in place.

Best wishes,

Claudine

    1. This is Durango travertine - is more cream and beige - no yellow tones.
