Hello!

My name is Gabrielle and I found your blog to be so helpful. I am virtually clueless when it comes to painting/decorating so I search around for pictures and try to copy. We have a small corner unit apartment that has Shaker Beige on the wall. Right now we have sheer green curtains that I hate and I am partial to neutrals with pops of color in the pillows, chairs, etc. 

I am having a hard time pairing shaker beige with neutral curtains. In the photo you included on your website are those ivory or white? In your opinion, would you go with an ivory/sand type of color or a white? Also since I have never bought curtains before with the exception of the green ones I am currently trying to replace can you recommend the fabric? They are purely for decoration (not to block light, etc.) and we have 4 windows in the corner around our beige couch (beige theme, I know). I will attach a picture but any suggestions are welcome! Gabrielle, if you have white trim on your windows, I'd go with a soft white curtain.  If it is off-white, you can go with a more creamy color.  To add more interest to your decor, use a textured fabric such as a linen or hemp.

To make it more 'custom', add a little trim to the inside (leading) edge of the panels and make sure your curtains touch and slightly puddle on the floor.

Real Simple

The house, or the door?  This image was from Real Simple  magazine and I don't have any of the paint information.  I just rechecked the site and they didn't have any information on the paint colors.... so  my best guess is Benjamin Moore SUNDANCE and Benjamin Moore SMOKE EMBERS.  Hope that helps!  I hate it when I find what I want, but can't FIND what I want!
