so, maybe not all at once, but in trying to plan ahead on the blog, I decided to talk about the 6 walls of your home - counting floor and ceiling, of course - at least a couple of times a month....

Don't you love walking into a beautiful room, taking in all the fabrics, the paint, the furniture, the lighting, the flooring, and then looking up and seeing more beauty?  

OPPOSITES ATTRACT...

Too much of anything, no matter how much you love it, is not a good thing.

So if you have a very warm wall color,

toss in some cooler tones -

I love warm wood tones, but for some reason

in a kitchen

I prefer them on the floor

I love a painted kitchen!

I love kitchens

Which is a little surprising based on how little time I have to spend in them these days.

But I can't help it.  I love kitchens -

They are the heart of the home.
