I think of accessories in the home as the jewelry...
The items you put on last - to accessorize and compliment your outfit.
They aren't actually useful really...
they don't organize, or have a specific function.
But they are important in a non-essential way - adding interest, color, personality and beauty to a room.
One accessory in particular; however, has proven it can be both 'useful' and 'jewelry'.
Trays are a useful item for carting things to and from the table, but that isn't the tray's only talent.
