Can you believe that February is almost gone?
I blinked… and it was nearly March!
but its still a new year and a chance for a new foot forward.

Chances are your home could do with a little bit of a lift, too.
So while the home fires are still burning, and the snow is still on the ground, how about a little advance planning on a facelift for your home?
Could your trim do with a fresh coat?
Does your front door need a little more 'welcome' in its greeting?
Is there something lacking in its appeal from the curb?
Would a new door color help?

Take a good long look at your house.
Take a picture if it will help.
Plan ahead on your touch ups, plantings and spruce ups…
and maybe even a larger project or two.

Nowadays the garage can be a major portion of your overall curb appeal,
and if you have a two or three car garage.
It can take up most of your home's 'face'!
Is that 'face' boring?

Does your home need a little updating?
A new walkway?
Repair or replacement of that cracked driveway?
A new paint color?
Some stacked stone accents?
A new gate or railing?

Put it on your list.

You'll be amazed what can be accomplished over a little time...

Hi, I am looking for a beige or a gray color for the exterior of my home. Do you have any suggestions?
I am really bad at picking out paint color! We are re-doing the landscaping and the front stoop..but step one is paint! We are going to paint the shutters white, and keep the bottom cement part white also. Any suggestions for a beige and/or gray for the exterior?
Thanks so much :)
Well, that's going to be adorable! What a cute little cottage!. I think I would pick a medium to darker hued gray as opposed to a beige. Beige is MEH on smaller cottages. A little non-descript, a little boring... So if you like a warmer tone, I'd go with a beige/gray - but definitely a gray and with enough contrast to show off the white shutters. And if you do go for a deeper gray, I'd rethink leaving the bottom half of the house white - it can look a little chopped in half. Here are a few you might like:

Consider adding some black accents - it looks great with gray!
